OMGfashionstars: A Great Room Decor Tip from La Maison de LouLou

We talked to children’s interior designer extraordinaire Marie-Laure Bouwens earlier this week, about her vision for her company La Maison de LouLou.

After seeing her designs, we had to pick her brain for some more ideas. And she was nice enough to share with us one of her favorite craft ideas for fun-ifying kids’ rooms: DIY Garlands.

She found this easy yet genius idea on Ruffled®, and it’s such a simple project you can make it with your OMGchildren. Technically, this one was intended for a wedding, but the garlands will look amazing in your favorite kid’s room.

Here’s what you need:
- Multicolored paper
- Circle hole punches in different sizes
- Package string
- Paper glue

Here’s what you do:
1. Punch out a bunch of circles.
2. Squeeze droplets of glue onto the string.
3. Stick a circle onto each drop of glue.

The best part is, your OMGchildren can make as many garlands and in as many colors as they want, so that their rooms really do reflect their own amazing personalities.

Big thanks to Marie-Laure for the great tip!
