Make your OMGchild Travel Around the World…with Food

One of the reasons we love traveling so much is getting to experience all the different dishes each country has to offer.  Unfortunately, taking your OMGchildren around the world isn’t very realistic, so we found a way to bring the world to them via … food. Here are some simple, easy-to-do ideas that will bring the world to your OMGchild’s table…

Nutella Banana Dorayaki- a slightly different version of the traditional Dorayaki (made with red bean paste), this snack is basically a nutella pancake sandwich.  What’s not to love?

Brazilian cheese bread, or pão de queijo is one of my favorites. These puffy little balls are made of tapioca flour (also known as cassava or yucca), which means they are a great snack for those who need to steer clear of gluten.

You can also try the Croque Monsieur Croissant sandwich- a hybrid of two delicious French traditions: the croque monsieur (basically a grilled ham and cheese sandwich) and a croissant.  Can you tell we’re crazy about cheese?
